HRM helping to launch health and care into the future
HRM has a long history of clients in the healthcare sector, and we’re excited to now be working on a pioneering partnership responsible for delivering joined up care and improved health and wellbeing to 1.5 million people across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw.
The new Health and Care Working Together in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw partnership sees the region become one of the first Integrated Care Systems (ICS) in the country and enables the region’s health and care organisations to ‘work as one.’
It brings together South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw NHS, local authority, voluntary and community sector organisations to work more closely, speeding up care and treatments and improving links between GPs and hospitals, physical and mental healthcare, and social care and the NHS.
So many good things are coming out of the partnership already and the team at HRM are getting stuck in, working on a huge variety of stories. We’ve been getting to grips with schemes to support those living with and beyond Cancer, programmes which provide a virtual classroom to train hard to reach care workers, and a trial to enable those suffering from mental health problems to get back into work.
It’s wonderful to be working on such positive campaigns which help people in many different ways. With population health needs changing so rapidly, we’re proud to be supporting the NHS in taking health and care forwards into the future.
