HRM are good sports for video project

​At HRM we pride ourselves on forging excellent working relationships with our clients and, by doing so, are often able to further expand on the level of work we do for them.

In June, the HRM team was busy promoting Sheffield’s Move More Month – a unique physical activity programme aiming to get thousands of people on the move across Sheffield.

When the team behind the initiative at theSheffield National Centre for Sports and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM) came to us to say they were looking at commissioning two videos as part of a Sport England funding bid, we were able to use our knowledge and experience on the back of the successful work we had done on Move More Month to deliver on this latest project.

The scheme was to see delegates from Sport England visit Sheffield as part of the city’s bid for funding for the Local Delivery Pilot, which aims to deliver sports and physical activity to those who don’t already take part in it.

We were tasked with delivering two short videos to be shown during a presentation on the day of the visit, showcasing what Sheffield has to offer as a city of sport and what opportunities there are out there to expand on.

We worked with the NCSEM’s partner organisations, using both footage filmed previously by other companies as well as new material we shot at various activity schemes across the city. In addition we also filmed a number of high profile Sheffield dignitaries including Sir Andrew Cash and John Mothersole.

And from the feedback we’ve had, our client is certainly happy with the results! Professor Rob Copeland, director of the NCSEM, said: “I've been extremely impressed with the work that HR Media has done on this. Simon has really pulled out the stops for us with the video editing.”

It just goes to show how beneficial those working relationships can be.
